California Smog Technician Training

UTI’s Smog elective* is designed to give you the skills you need to take the California State Smog license exam and become a certified emissions technician. Graduates earn Certificates of Completion in the four technical areas required to register for the state of California Smog license exam. Licensed Smog technicians are qualified to inspect, diagnose, adjust, repair and certify the emissions control systems on vehicles in compliance with California State Smog requirements.
