How to Apply for MSAT Training

When a UTI student reaches 8 courses prior to their graduation date they are welcome to begin the acceptance process for an MSAT program. The steps for acceptance are as follows:
  • There are a limited number of interview slots given to each campus every three weeks.
  • At the start of every course your campus Advanced Training Representatives, (ATR's) pull a list of students who are 8 courses from graduation.
  • The list is sorted by GPA and Attendance - students with the highest GPA's and Attendance will interview first with the ATR.
  • If the student candidate meets the criteria for selection and passes the ATR interview then they will be offered an opportunity to interview with the Advanced Training Manager (ATM).
  • The ATM interview typically takes place 6 or 7 courses from graduation.
  • ATM's make the final decision about candidate acceptance.
  • The ATM will make one of three possible decisions by the end of the interview:
    • 1) Accepted: At which time the candidate is assigned a specific start date and training location.
    • 2) Denied: At which time the candidate can see the ATR about applying for a different MSAT program.
    • 3) Provisional: In this case the ATM has determined to take a second look at the candidate in the future; possibly after the candidate has completed a few courses in an elective like FACT or the ATM has had a chance to speak to a few dealers about the candidate.
  • Accepted student are expected to "check-in" once per month via email or phone with the ATM until their assigned class begins.
In the mean time, stay focused on school and put together the best GAME that you can!
