Motorcycle Mechanic Training at MMI Phoenix
In MMI's 48-week Motorcycle Technician training program, you’ll have the opportunity to troubleshoot and diagnose engines, test performance and drivability and more. As a graduate, you earn a diploma and can choose to continue your training with additional manufacturer-specific electives.

- UTI follows a blended learning model, which includes a mix of online instructor-led training with hands-on application in the lab.18 This type of training is modeled after what’s used in the industry today and can provide more flexibility for students. UTI’s core programs follow this style, except for Welding, Collision Repair & Refinish Technology, and CNC Machining. These programs follow a hands-on learning model.
- While not separate classes, math and science aligned with the learning skills are incorporated into the course teachings, along with industry terminology that technicians need to succeed.
- No, our curriculum does not require prior experience and is specifically designed to teach the skills necessary to pursue a career as a entry-level technician.
- Graduates earn either a diploma or Associate in Occupational Studies (AOS) degree, depending on the program and campus, with the possibility of additional credentials.
- Yes, students can work and attend school if needed. Our Career Services team can help identify local job openings based on a student’s schedule.
