Build on your Diesel Technology knowledge with the DTNA Finish First program as you undergo hands-on training with some of the most respected names in the trucking industry, including Freightliner, Cascadia and Western Star.1,18 As a Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) Finish First student, you'll be taught how to maintain, diagnose and repair DTNA products. The 12-week Finish First manufacturer-specific training can put graduates on the road to a career as a Daimler Truck service technician.9

COURSE OBJECTIVES
DTNA HEAVY-DUTY TRUCK SYSTEMS
Be taught to find adjustment specifications and prepare vehicles for suspension adjustment, understand the types of clutches used on DTNA vehicles, and the importance of correct wheel-seal installation.
DTNA ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONIC TROUBLESHOOTING AND ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS
Be taught to read DTNA diagrams and schematics, locate key components and troubleshoot using DTNA-recommended diagnostic tools and software.
DTNA HVAC DIAGNOSTICS & BUSINESS CLASS M2
Be taught to locate and identify heating system and air conditioning components. Perform vehicle inspections, service, testing and repairs to live M2 vehicles.
DTNA CASCADIA & WESTERN STAR TRUCK MODELS
Be taught to identify the different Cascadia and Western Star models and their electronics specific to the vehicle. Perform vehicle inspections, service, testing, and repairs to Cascadia and Western Star live trucks.
CERTIFICATIONS
Graduates of the Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) Finish First program earn Professional Level Technician status. With six valuable certifications, a successful graduate of the program could have a competitive advantage over other entry-level technicians.6

Core Program Training You must complete one of the following Diesel Technology core curriculum programs from UTI, or another program certified by the ASE Education Foundation:

• Technology II: CPGN- Diesel Only; All Diesel Courses
• Technology II: CPGN- Auto/Diesel; All Diesel Core Courses
