Inaugural Program Grant Overview
Objective
To provide Inaugural Grants to students who are scheduled to begin their training on the first scheduled start date for a newly released program at an approved Universal Technical Institute or NASCAR Technical Institute campus. The grant will be available to all students who meet the eligibility criteria as defined below; there is no separate application process. The grant award will be 20% of program tuition and will be applied upon the successful completion of the student’s fifth (5th) course.
Criteria for Awarding the Grant
Grant eligibility will be based on enrollment at a qualifying campus location in an eligible program, and scheduled start date. Unless otherwise stated, there are no variations of this program. Full eligibility details are listed below.
Eligibility Details
- Eligible students will forfeit their grant eligibility and/or award if they cancel or postpone beyond the initial program launch date or transfer into a different program.
- Students must be actively attending and in good standing at the completion of their fifth (5th) course in order to receive the Inaugural Grant.
- Actual start dates subject to change, but grant will be honored for the first two official starts at each location and program.
Process and Rules
- Only one award will be given per student.
- Any grants awarded are not transferrable to any other person.
- The Inaugural Grant will be applied as a credit against tuition and will not be issued to the student in the form of cash.
- In the event of withdrawal, suspension, or termination from school prior to the completion of the fifth (5th) course, the grant will not be awarded to the student in any amount.
- In the event of withdrawal, suspension, or termination from school after the completion of the fifth (5th) course, the award will be subject to prorated loss for the portion of program not attended.
