The Motorcycle Technician Training program at Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in Orlando has the instructors, facilities, and state-of-the-industry tools and technology to help you prepare for a career in the motorcycle industry.1 You'll be hands-on with motorcycle, ATV, side-by-side, snowmobile and personal watercraft as you train on vehicles for every season.18

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

UTI Orlando gives graduates the foundational knowledge they need to prepare for a career as a technician in the motorcycle industry. The 48-week Motorcycle Technician Training program combines classroom learning with hands-on application to teach you key components of motorcycle technology. Graduates earn a diploma and have the option to further their training with additional manufacturer-specific electives, whether it’s the Harley-Davidson PHD program or Factory Authorized Suzuki Training (FAST).

MOTORCYCLE TECHNICIAN SKILLS STUDENTS WILL LEARN

No prior experience is needed to enroll in UTI's motorcycle technician program. We'll start with the basics and slowly advance. A few of the course topics the program covers include:

  • Engines, Transmissions, and Precision Measurement
  • Chassis, Suspension, and Final Drive
  • Electrical Systems
  • Vehicle Maintenance
  • Engine Troubleshooting and Noise Diagnosis
  • Electrical Diagnostics

MOTORCYCLCE MECHANIC DEGREES AND CREDENTIALS IN ORLANDO, FL

Depending on the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) courses taken, you can either earn a diploma or occupational associate degree (OAD), both of which show your dedication to potential employers. Students also earn credentials or progress toward manufacturer-specific credentials that may set them apart from other entry-level candidates.
