FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Those interested in attending UTI do not need to have prior experience. However, prospective students must be at least 16 years of age. A high school diploma or GED diploma is also required. Additional admissions details can be found here.
While math classes are not separate, math that is aligned with learning skills is incorporated into the curriculum alongside industry terminology needed for technicians.
UTI offers its Automotive, Diesel, Motorcycle and Marine technician training in a blended learning format, which includes a mix of online instructor-led training with hands-on application in the lab. All other programs follow a completely hands-on learning model.
