Preparing Students for Careers the World Needs
Total technician employment in the U.S. is expected to exceed 1.9 million by 2033!38
From automotive to welding to energy, UTI grads gain skills that can open doors to in-demand industries.

Hands-on Learning
Hands-on learning is a powerful approach that can transform students from passive learners to active participants who are better prepared for the future. By practicing with the same tools, technology and equipment used in the field, students gain skills and confidence employers value in entry-level candidates. For high school juniors and seniors exploring what’s next, hands-on training at UTI can bridge the gap while preparing them to pursue their goals.

Advanced Training Opportunities
Students who complete a core automotive or diesel program can enroll in a Manufacturer-Specific Advanced Training (MSAT) program, where they can gain specialized training aligned with the needs of leading industry brands, such as BMW, Toyota and Ford.11 In these programs, students get hands-on with the specific tools, software and equipment used by top manufacturers. This type of training can enhance technical knowledge and provide graduates with a competitive edge compared to candidates without specialized training.

Scholarships & Grants
UTI provides various scholarships and grants to help make our programs accessible for students from all backgrounds.10 We’re making more than $15 million in scholarships and grants available to those who qualify this year alone!
