HOW TO QUALIFY
The Cummins Engines program gives you extensive Cummins-specific training that prepares you for a career with a Cummins Distributor or Authorized Dealer. Here's what you need to qualify:
You must complete one of the following Diesel Technology core curriculum programs from UTI or another program certified by the ASE Education Foundation:
- Technology I: CPGN- Diesel Only; All Diesel Courses
- Technology I: CPGN- Auto/Diesel; All Diesel Core Courses
- Technology II: CPGN- Diesel Only; All Diesel Courses
- Technology II: CPGN- Auto/Diesel; All Diesel Core Courses

- Yes. All UTI/MMI/NASCAR Tech locations are accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges.
- Yes. Accreditation promotes institutional accountability by systematically and comprehensively evaluating institutions based upon established criteria.
- Several UTI campuses have been awarded the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges School of Excellence Award.
- Each student who successfully completes the program courses and the related testing for Cummins Engines qualifications will be classified as a CMI Level 1 Technician.
