Automotive Mechanic Training in Mooresville, NC
Located just a short drive from Charlotte, North Carolina, NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville is home to the Automotive Technology program and 15-week NASCAR elective. Your core automotive program will cover the basics of automotive technology and from there you can dive into the world of NASCAR and learn skills for the racing industry.24 As a graduate, you’ll earn an associate of occupational studies degree and will be prepared to test for ASE certification.
CNC Machining Training in Mooresville, NC
Created in conjunction with industry leader Roush Yates, the 36-week CNC Machining Technology program will teach you to craft intricate performance parts and components from raw materials. Upon completion of the program, you’ll earn a diploma and can work with UTI’s Employment Assistance team, which can help to identify potential career opportunities.

No, our curriculum does not require prior experience and is specifically designed to teach the skills necessary to pursue a role as a entry-level technician after graduation.
Graduates earn either a diploma or OAD, depending on the program, with the possibility of additional credentials.
UTI follows a blended learning model, which includes a mix of online instructor-led training with hands-on application in the lab.18 This type of training is modeled after what’s used in the industry today and can provide more flexibility for students.
UTI’s core programs follow this style, except for Welding, Collision Repair & Refinish Technology, and CNC Machining. These programs follow a hands-on learning model.
