Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) Finish First

Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) Finish First is an intensive 12-week Manufacturer-Specific Advanced Training (MSAT) program offered by the Universal Technical Institute.⁹ This program educates students on features of Freightliner and Western Star trucks. This includes understanding the technical components of their engines, components of their chassis, and their state-of-the-industry safety systems. Upon the successful completion of the program, students are awarded DTNA Professional Level Technician status.

Cummins Power Generation

The 12-week Cummins Power Generation MSAT equips students with the technical expertise essential for the power generation sector.^9,46 The curriculum dives into different topics, including the installation, operation and maintenance of Cummins Power Generation equipment. Graduates of the program gain qualifications needed to earn CMI Level 1 Technician status.

The Automotive Technology program at UTI Avondale embraces a hands-on approach to learning.¹⁸ In just 51 weeks, students can build fundamental technical skills sought by the industry for entry-level roles.⁷ Graduates earn associate of occupational studies degrees.

UTI Avondale's Welding Technology program, with its 36-week course of study, teaches students the four main arc welding processes. Graduates earn diplomas and are prepared to seek employment in their preferred sectors.

The Airframe & Powerplant Technician program at UTI Avondale location lasts 18 months and helps give students hands-on experience for the aviation industry. ⁷⁹ Graduates earn diplomas.

Enrolled auto and diesel students are eligible to apply for the Early Employment Program.³⁶ Through this program, students have the chance to connect with participating employers, which can help them apply for industry work while they are still studying. Select students in this program could be considered for a full-time job and repayment of student costs upon graduation.
