AUTOMOTIVE TRAINING NEAR SANFORD, FL

The Automotive program at UTI Orlando is an ASE Education Foundation accredited program, so students learn from ASE-certified instructors and take courses that supply them with relevant knowledge.
Additionally, program graduates can substitute their training for one year of the two years of work experience required to become ASE certified.

Eligible auto school students can further improve their skill sets by applying for one of UTI Orlando’s Manufacturer-Specific Advanced Training (MSAT) programs developed with industry leaders BMW and Ford.11

- Get on I-4 West in Lake Mary from FL-46 West (7.8 miles)
- Drive west on West 11th Street toward Myrtle Avenue (0.2 miles)
- Turn right onto South French Avenue (0.6 miles)
- Use the left two lanes to turn left onto FL-46 West/West First Street (4 miles)
- Use the right lane to take the I-4 West ramp to Orlando (1.1 miles)
- Keep left at the fork to continue toward I-4 West (0.4 miles)
- Keep left at the fork to continue toward I-4 West (0.8 miles)
- Follow the signs for I-4 West/Orlando/Tampa and merge onto I-4 West (0.7 miles)
- Continue on I-4 West. Take I-4 Express to Consulate Drive in Orange County. Take Exit 255 from Florida’s Turnpike (27.4 miles)
- Merge onto I-4 West (4.8 miles)
- Keep left at the fork to continue on I-4 Express (6.2 miles)
- Keep left at the fork to stay on I-4 Express (9.7 miles)
- Keep left at the fork to stay on I-4 Express (2.3 miles)
- Take the exit on the left toward Miami (1 mile)
- Merge onto Florida’s Turnpike (3.1 miles)
- Take Exit 255 for Consulate Drive (0.3 miles)

UTI Orlando’s Diesel mechanic school offers a 45-week program7 that prepares students for various industries through training courses on electrical applications, hydraulics, powertrains, brakes and more. Graduates earn diplomas and, like our auto mechanic school, can substitute their training for one year of work experience toward becoming ASE certified.
