How to Access Your Universal Technical Institute Student Email Account
Your student email can be accessed by going to https://portal.office.com. Upon your first log in, you will be required to change your password. Email can also be set up on mobile devices by using the email app on the device or by downloading the Outlook app. Links to both options are listed at the bottom of page 2.
Once you have your own password set up, you will be prompted to set up additional information in order to help recover your account in the event that you forget your password. Select “Next”.
You will need to provide a phone number and/or email address to verify your account. You can opt to set up just one or both phone and email. You should use a phone number/email address that you will have regular access to; the phone/email you set up will be used in the event that you need to reset your password and you will need to have access to the phone/email that you set up.
If you choose to set up your phone, you will have the option to be texted or called. Once you select “Text Me” or “Call Me”, you will receive a text/call with a verification code that you will need to enter to verify your phone number.
If you choose to set up your authenticated email, once you select “Email Me” you will receive an email with a verification code that you will need to enter to verify your email.
Once your phone/email has been authenticated, you can select “Mail” to view your inbox.
The first time you access your inbox, you will be required to select your preferred language and time zone.
